Star Wars as Spaghetti Western


A clever artist named Timothy Anders has recreated posters for the original Star Wars trilogy as spaghetti westerns.  You can purchase them here.

  1. YES! The things I like most about Star Wars are the things about Star Wars that are Western.

    Jeremy Bulloch who played Boba Fett said as he donned the cape he was instantly reminded of Eastwood from the Dollars trilogy and began to take on that persona.

    From ESB DVD commentary:

    "Sound editor Ben Burtt added the sound of jangling spurs, created and performed by the Foley artist team of Robert Rutledge and Edward Steidele, to Fett's appearance in Cloud City, intending to make the character menacing and the scene reminiscent of similar gunfighter appearances in Western films."
